Mrs. Alice Ima Abruquah Gaye

With profound sadness the Abruquah, Rockson, Gaye, Essle and Clement families announce the home going of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend Mrs. Alice Abruquah Gaye who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.

Ima as she was affectionately called lived with her daughter Cecelia Gaye (Cece) in Minnesota.  Ima was a true servant of the Lord preaching the Gospel on the streets in Liberia and Ghana. She lived a very blessed life. She was kind and a loving mother to all who knew her.

Ima was predeceased by her parents Mr. J.H Abruquah and Mamie Kokau Abruquah, four of her five children; Mary Rockson, Samuel Parker, Elizabeth Rockson and Joseph Rockson. She leaves to mourn her daughter Mrs. Cecelia Gaye, grand children: Rose Mensah Massaquoi (T-Mom), Grace Effie Mensah Charles (Alonzo), Wokie Akpabio, Comfort Mensah, Josephine Morris, Daniel Bedell, Sharon Patray, Nimeley Togba,  Nyaine Gaye, Joanna Parker, Kindness Parker, 21great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, and host of relatives and friends in Liberia and Ghana. 

May her soul rest in perfect peace.
