With heavy hearts, The James Family of Roberstsport, Grand Cape Mount County and The Fahnbulleh Family of Gbesseh, Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia announce with deep sadness the sudden and untimely homegoing of our beloved Sister, Aunt, Grand Aunt, Cousin and companion, Maude Gueh James. Aunty Maude as she was affectionately called departed this life peacefully on Sunday, July 21st, 2013 at her home in Wroto Town, Liberia.
Maude G. James was born on December 25th, 1948 unto the union of Joseph L. James and Madame Gueh Fahnbulleh in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County. She was the youngest of her siblings. Maude was predeceased by her parents Joseph James and Gueh Fahnbulleh, her grandmother Mrs. Lucretia James-Sims, her aunts Mrs. Margaret James-D'Almeda, Mrs. Julia Chenoweth, Mrs. Jestina Marshall, and her uncles, Moore James, Levi James and William James. Her sisters, Mrs. Margaret Givens-Butler, Mrs.Lucretia James-Paasewe, Mrs. Joetta James-Kiawu, her brothers Isaac James and Kpakamoi James.
She will be missed. She leaves to mourn her loss while cherishing her memories, a host of relatives and friends. Her sisters Mrs. Etmonia David-Tarpeh and Mother Pinkey James. Her nieces Jerrie Paasewe, Velma Kiawu-Fahnbulleh(Ben), Lucretia Paasewe, Edna Paasewe and Carnetta Anderson. Her nephews Boakai Paasewe and Ramy James. Her cousins, Edmund Chenoweth, Lucretia Chenoweth-Wright, Gloria Lewis-Barrolle(Othello), Varney Lewis(Helen),Ben Lewis, Margaret Lewis, Emmanuel James, Robert James, Aaron Marshall, Lady Marshall and her longtime companion, Mr. Freeman Mulbah. And a host of other relatives and love ones in The USA, Spain, Australia and Monrovia, Liberia.

on Saturday, August 10th,2013
At The Samuel Stryker Funeral Home Chapel
Tubman Boulevard, Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia
10 am.
Immediately thereafter funeral service starts at 11 am.
May The Soul of Aunty Maude and The Souls of all the Faithful Departed through the Mercy of God Rest in Perfect Peace. Amen.
