J. Owen Dweh Woart was Associate Professor of Management at the University of Liberia. He was also Assistant County Attorney of Montserrado County in Liberia. He was a member of the St Thomas Episcopal Church in Monrovia, Liberia.
His wife, Martha J. Clay-Woart predeceased him in December 2009. He is survived by his children, Mariana Wodonyene, Joseph Jr., Sigismund, and Jolyne. Three grandchildren, Joseph, Tyler, Nathaniel and Ava. Other relatives include J Wah-Doe Bedell Sr, Anthony Woart, Victoria Woart, Nathaniel Woart, Nyema Woart, Robert Taylor, nieces, nephews, cousins and coworkers. Close friends, Joseph Wheaton, Deddeh Baysah-Antoine and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held in Monrovia Liberia at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Camp Johnson, Monrovia on August 10, 2013. Interment will take place on Du Port cemetery.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in perfect peace.
