The death is announced of Gordon Acker Duncan this sad event occurred on June 22, 2013 at 2:30pm in Monrovia after a brief illness.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard J.B. and Anna Freeman Duncan; He was also predeceased by his step mother Mrs. Maude Blake Duncan, and Louise Gaines Duncan.

He leaves to mourn his death Mrs. Johnette Houston (Minnesota) a caring motherly woman who took care of him as a young boy.

He is also survived by his Ex- wife Mrs. Dazeline Mason Duncan of Atlanta, Two Daughters, Princess Duncan Mason and Matu Duncan; a son Leon Duncan of Monrovia, his sisters Isabella Duncan, Aurora Duncan Moore, Mai Julia Duncan Ward (NAHOR) Thelma E. Duncan Sawyer (Amos) Ellen Duncan, Musa Duncan Crabbe (Ernest) Elizabeth Duncan Dickerson, Nancy Doris Duncan, Rose Duncan Vezele (Momo), and others.

His brothers George W. Duncan (Rhode Island)Richard, Dossen, Nixon and Joseph Duncan, Four Grandson, and Granddaughter, Four Aunty Mrs. Annie Burgan Sanchs,  Mrs. Doris D. Grimes, Mrs. Magdalene Duncan witherspoon, Mrs. Nancy Duncan Keller. A host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Wake keeping will be held at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Paynesville, from 6PM to 9PM on July 19, 2013.

The Funeral on Saturday July 20, 2013 at 10:00am at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
